Random Updates

I am still 30 and I like it.

I have just graduated on to the intermediate Salsa class. Now is when I learn to dance like a real Cubano. Look out lovely Latinas! He can't speak Spanish, but he can dance! Caliente!

My parents and my brother came down to celebrate my 30th birthday. We went to a Brazilian steakhouse. This is an all you can eat carnival of meat. The guys come around to you table with meat stuck on swords and cut you a piece. You have a little card with green on one side and red on the other. When the green side is up they just keep coming with more meat! Faster than you can eat it, even if you make a pig of yourself. It's the most meat I've seen in one place since the Great Beast Feast of 1999. Props to the FRGC.

Manamana, do do dadodoo, do do te doo!

I took my parents to Everglades National Park. My mom got scared by alligators by the side of the path. I pointed it out she jumped, yelled, then hit me. This caused a German dude behind us to do the same thing. They thought I was kidding. They all jumped and yelled again when I pointed to the real thing. It was like a Peter Sellers movie out there in the swamp.

Apparently the alligators are now facing crazy competition from Burmese Pythons. Doesn't this sound like a TV movie? Check out the link for the full story.

The Yankees lost to the Angels last night. I hate to say it, but they were robbed. That game had some of the worst calls I have ever seen. The officiating was awful. Cano was so safe on first in the 8th. Also, I am now officially pissed at A-Rod. He's useless in the post season. Useless!!! At least we lasted longer than the Red Sox. All you Red Sox fans remember how to say Choke, right?

I had an awesome sandwich for lunch with avocado in it. Avocado is an underutilized condiment in my opinion.

I may or may not be dating someone. The start of the relationship always confuses me. I've never been good at defining these things. I would say seeing, but not really dating. Couldn't say with confidence that she's my girlfriend, yet. Can say with confidence that she's hot. Pretty sure I'd be in trouble if I went out with someone else and she found out.

Pretty sure I am gonna be late for my Political Analysis class because I stopped to write this.

Much love to my homeys!

i can't believe you referred to "we" (yourself) as a Yankees fan. why did i not know this? brad, you're from maine. maine is in new england, not the tri-state area. loyalty does not cross borders.

relationship beginnings are confusing. from your description, it sounds to me like she might consider you her boyfriend. but then again, i'm still living in the uptight northeast and you're in the city of csi:miami.

I like the whole "word verification" thing you have going in order to post a coment.

Today's is "twazr," written in that cool wavy, I-can-identify-it-because-I'm-not-a-robot way.

People, I vote we come up with a meaning to the word Twazr.
Twazr; noun - taser used on morons.

DG, as everyone knows, a twazr is the tool that flight attendents used to use to extract hot meals from the on-board oven. (Mrs. Coyle can verify this). The twazr is, of course, now extinct.

By the way, don't feel too bad for B-rad if he whines in his next post about "evacuating" Miami. Coyle-style evacuation involves sitting on an Illinois barstool drinking free for a week.

Craig always was good at Balderdash. The twazr is actually a train that travels by magnetic levitation.

The Yankees can never, ever complain about bad calls. The good luck surplus they've piled up over the past 85 years would take decades of unabated misfortune to even out.

And I believe the Sawx fans spell "choke" like this: A-R-O-D.
